Default Series 2 - Coolant Expansion / Header Tanks....where from?

Hi Lads,

Mine is showing some hairline cracks and you can see some of the water physically trying to seep out after a long drive.

So called Ford, none in stock and discontinued.
Called usual motor factors ...don't stock.
Tried ebay, came across a cheap one £21 but looks like its the wrong one (looks like mk6 escort one) and seller couldn't confirm it was correct either.

I'm pretty stumped!

So just wondering...where can I get one from???

Cheers

90 spec tank is far steeper as the inner wing is steeper.

are they both genuine? the bottom one doesnt seem to have any 'min/max' marks whereas top one does. and the one currently fitted to my car (80 spec) has the min max markings as per photo...

Both are genuine, both have min/max marks visible in the pic (just).
And as per MaxTurbo's comments, Ive never had an issue getting them from Ford tho i know people like alexcabrio bought most of them up to sell at a stupidly overthetop price

Just thought I'd let people know I bought the above tank from the forum member 'Anvini' and all went well.

Was a bit of a risk as he is in Spain and was just sending money direct (no ebay protection etc), but sure enough, week after paying the item arrived. I fitted it and all seems well.

Buy in confidence from Anvini! Legit chap.

just buy a spec r one and never replace it again hot water and plastic never lasts just look at modern bmws with there plastic connectors on the head and plastic thermostat housings being replaced every 20,000 miles !!
worth fitting a new rad cap as well with the release valve in it
