I have owned my S2 for several years now, E716 DTW, anybody know the car?believe it was RS owners club registered a while back, still has the stickers on the Windows.
The car has the black body side trims along the bottom of the wings and doors and it is the only one I know of which has them fitted, were these fitted as standard when new or have they been fitted later?

The side trims would have been fitted after ,they never came with them from new ,i saw a red s2 on a trailer today and it also had the trims

 

There is a famous red D reg that has them fitted from new, As an optional extra. I have a white D plate car and I have a set of these brand new that I planned to fit at some point.
