Default saph 4x4 questions

Currently restoring my 4x4 and have a couple of questions.

Then refitting the front driveshafts, is it normal practive to refit the snap retention rings with the front diff cover removed? or do people just not bother fitting them? im sure they werenot fitted when i removed the shafts.

also, the centre bearing and bush need changing on the rear propshaft, is it a straightforward job or is it just as cheap / easy to get one fitted at a propshaft firm? I am dropping the front prop off a a propshaft firm tomorrow for a new UJ fitted, so didnt know if it was worth just chucking the rear on in at the same time, or worth saving a few quid and doing it myself.

A lot of people dont bother with the circlip but I did by dropping the plate.

I would get the prop shaft firm to do it and check the balance
