Hi. New to the site so be gentle . Just after buying a 1991 s2 rs turbo a few weeks back that has been sitting in storage for the last 20 years. Body is fine except for the usual spots. I.e battery tray and a couple of spots on the boot floor. The car is still original with original tape deck and graphic equaliser. Paint is gone dull so its off for a respray in the next 2 weeks. Engine is gone for a full overhaul and i was glad to get the call to say that there was no wear anywhere in the engine. Wouldnt expect so with only 68500 miles on the clock. Now my question to you is. Was there a build sequence to these cars in vin no. Order as mine is a very high vin no. I seen one recently for sale that was 4 vins lower than mine. Any help would be appreciated as ive been told that the 2nd owner of the car has documents to prove that its the 2nd last one ever built. I cannot get this verified by ford so that ls why i am here along with getting some advice when it comes to putting it back together and sourcing some parts. Anyway. Thanks in advance for any help.
