Hi - Can you help me with my 2007 Fiesta 1.25 Zetec issue.

Recently after a few minutes of driving I hear a sound like the door locking sound and I see both the left and right indicator lights on the dashboard flash once together. I've checked the doors and they are not locking so I'm not sure what the sound actually is. At first I thought I was imagining it, but it has happened a few times now. Seems to happen a few minutes into the journey.
Does anyone know what is causing this and should I be worried?

Hi mine keeps doing this 2006 1.4 zetec fiesta, any idea what was wrong?

 

my old mondeo has been doing for years. never looked into it but I make sure I don't leave my keys in the ignition!

 

Not solved the issue but is has magically gone away (at least for a while!). A bit afterwards I realised that the dashboard boot open button did not always open the boot and I had to resort to the one on the keyfob. I'm thinking that the lock might not have been locking correctly on the boot. I mentioned it to the garage last service and I think they oiled the locks. Worth a try.
