How to tell if shell is genuine

I've got a 4x4 cosworth, but every time I try and insure it you give them the number plate and it comes up as a sapphire ghia, is this normal or do I have summert dodgy going on?

Has it been reshelled , what does it say on the v5 ?. You could always stick the reg up on here .

Just to let you know that whilst in most cases the registration number data bases are pretty accurate they aren't infallible.

That seems strange and it would need to be corrected (which means the premium will increase)

As said what does the log book say, I assume it's not a replica?
