Hi, i have a mk3 fiesta, some days ago the engine stopped working, i had another one which used to run well about 5 years ago so we swapped it yesterday.

All went well except when we tried to start it. After some turns i noticed that the diesel shut off was jammed and wasn't opening, i changed it to, however it is still not starting i tried with self starter and towing it trying to start it on gear it's still nothing .
The fuel lines are filled and no air bubble are left.

Any ideas at what might be wrong ? thanks
