Hello, i can buy an ecu from brodie britain racing. Is that any good?
Are all type of rs turbo ecu interchangebale?

Early RST ECUs (S1, early S2) aren't equipped with knock sensors and are interchangable. Later ones are equipped with a knock sensor and are not interchangeable with the early type.

Blue-Red-Blue = S1
Blue-Red-White = Early S2
Blue-Red-Black = S2 equipped with knock sensor, green sensor mounted on RH of inlet is the knock sensor
Hearts & Diamonds = 90 Spec S2s

As for BBR, I was going to pick one up some time ago but was told by a friend they weren't up to much scratch. Bear in mind that you will require a set up as simply bolting on a chipped ECU to an otherwise standard car could lead to disaster. Personally I wouldn't bother getting a 2nd hand unit and would look into getting a proper set up from a reputable tuner.

 

I am aware for the set up. I assume that the bbr chip does the same thing as the other chips, removing
the boost limiter are am I wrong?

Think it was 1 bar (14.7psi) limit, was one for sale new a year back and I recall that having a 1 bar cut.
