My rev counter only seems to read up to 3k rpm , are their common issues with them ? It is 2.1zvh on gotech, coil pack ect where does it get its feed from ? Any input would be appreciated cheers

In an EFi setup the Rev counter needs its feed combined from both coils (not one coil as it does with a dizzy) hence half the revs.
You can either try and find an EFi rev counter as suggested by studabear or you can add the following circuit:
It's a very simple cheap circuit made of 3 diodes. I added this to mine right down near the EDIS and attached it to the original green rev counter wire with a bullet connector in the original location.

Cheers guys , seems to read correct to about 2800 rpm then just sticks but i noticed on the motorway the needle seems bounce up and down slightly, im going to have a look into this tomorrow
