Scooby newbie and after a bit of help,
Just bought my son his first car a fiesta 1.4 a 2004 model, problem is that it doesn't like to idle, I've changed the spark plugs the leads and coil pack, still the same! It's running mega rich as plugs were black. When driving its down on power and as soon as you let the rpm down to idle it switches off! I've looked in at throttle butterfly flap and all looks clean, I did put flat head screw driver in just to hold butterfly open slightly and This made it idle perfectly. But I did notice the butterfly flap was wanting to close completely? I've sprayed wd40 around to see if there is any vacuum leaks but no sign of, if any of you guys can help I would be very grateful,
