Default Clio 172 pedal box - solid pedal!!

i bought I Clio track car. (I know, renaults are aweful things! Just a bit of fun for a few months then il sell it on!)

It's a Clio 172 (53 plate), cage, coilovers ect, with a Megane 225 engine and box. Came with a print out for 281bhp.

It has an aftermarket pedal box fitted- with 3 master cylinders attached. The servo from under the bonnet has been removed. I'm guessing because there would be no room for the turbo with the servo fitted?

Anyway- the pedal is absolutely solid and you have to push the pedal through the floor to get the brakes to work!! Does anyone know what I can do to improve the pedal? I want to do a track day but I'm sure the thing won't stop as the pedal is at the moment!

Any advise appreciated

Cheers

Ok thanks- I will do. I'll get some decent brake fluid for it, may as well get new pads all round as I don't know how old they are. Il check piston operation too- but the servo has been removed due to space I think.

Yeah most of it is because it doesn't have a servo. You just have to have big leg muscles.

Don't knock the Clio, great little track cars, you will have a lot of fun in it.

Cheers for the replys.

The pedal box has 3 master cylinders. I'm guessing 1 for the clutch, and 1 for front brakes and 1 for rear brakes. If I fit a remote servo, do I simply just plumb them in-line after the master cylinder? Shall I just get 2 the same and then fit a bias valve?

Or there is a dual circuit remote servo- surely that's all I need?!

The brake master cylinders are probably sized incorrectly
