I've just bought an Omex rev limiter with shift light however I think I've bought a Single coil one rather than the twin coil one that I needed (eBay item...) The only difference I can see between to two is that the single coil one has one blue wire to to coil wire and the twin coil Omex has two blue wires to the coilpack. Anyone know if it would be possible for me to splice the one blue wire, into the two negative coilpack wires or are the limters calibrated differently?

 

No you can't do that as you are effectively shorting the two coils out by joining them together!
