Ok this might be a hard one as I don't really have any pictures but I have a zvh engine in my s2, I know it's 1.8 but that's about it, anyway what I could do with knowing is what one it is I have as I need to change the sump gasket, the only thing I can tell is that the oil filter sits at a slight angle at the back of the engine on drivers side, I remember looking at a post somewhere that did say which engine has the filter like that but for the life of me I can't find that post anywhere lol, any help at all would be appreciated, thanks

 

On the blacktop block the oil filter goes straight onto back of block, silver top the oil filter goes onto the oil pump itself,

also sumps are different, silver top is a one piece sump, blacktop is 2 piece

Cheers If I remember correctly when I changed the oil filter it screwed straight onto the back of the block, il have a look tomorrow when it's light, yeah I noticed there different so thought I'd ask you guys for a bit of help iv had loads of rst's but this is my 1st zvh and to be honest I wish I'd bought a cvh one instead as I don't know what parts were used in the conversion but il get there lol, cheers

 

No probs! its a nightmare sometimes when working on an engine you never put together but you'll get it sussed out lol
