Default Finding parts for my st200...

Evening folks. I have the st200 and need a few bits. Engine mounts and front lower arms to be exact. Thing is them mounts are eBay and main dealers. And the arms are poxy Q Drive £88 or Dealers £171 each!
I don't mind spending a pound note on the motor but these prices are a bit much

So my question is does any one here know where I can get half decent parts for reasonable money?

Thanks

Cheers guys. Never knew such a site existed!
1-pd. you're right there mate. Probably why this will be parked up soon and a 2.0 focus in it's place.
Rib cheers mate but I can't buy secondhand arms or mounts as I already have those attached to the car.

If it was me I'd ditch your 200 and buy the one in the for sale section on here. It's an awesome bargain

That's not a bad price try buying wishbones for a mk1 focus Rs. They are expensive.

It was classed as a "Drivers car" Glenn. The suspension system was uniquely made for the ST200 to give the driver a better feel for the road. ST24 won't fit ST200 and vice-versa. Thats the problem, £30 a pair for ST24 or £100+ each for ST200....

He's right! The st is different underneath and drives a lot nicer

Also fitting st parts to a st24 is pointless as I'd still suffer the st tax?

Modified subframe and lower suspension arms with modified stabiliser bars (4 and 5-door versions only) together with revised spring and shock absorber ratings. Basically they mount totally different to ST24

Off topic but the Rs wishbones have a different part no and although the st170 ones do fit the rear bush hole needs opened up slightly. There has been many discussion had about them but yes an st170 will fit but needs slight modification not a big deal though.
Oh and the st200 is a very nice motor which must be getting thin on the ground now.

No glen not that I'm aware of mate. Think the different part no relates to the bigger bush size. People said the Rs had strengthening plates inside but someone cut one open and proved that to be nonsense. Think it was Cochran I think his name is on here. He's a Welsh lad with a focus cosworth.
