Default Borgwarner T5 to electronic speed sensor?

Hello peeps,

I've had a good search but with no real results that i can find. I'm trying to find out if i can get an adapter to convert the T5 speedo drive to an electronic speed sensor. Ive spoken to Burtons and they couldn't help me and I've also spoken to CTS (gearbox man) however they are going to look into it and I've got to ring back later.

I'm trying to find out if this is possible, if not ill have to change the instrument crusher in the Focus more suited to the cossie engine & box.

OR, has anyone done this? What adapter and sensor did you use please?

Regard's,

Chris

This one? looks interesting. Let us know how you get on. I've mounted a sensor to the front hub which picks up on the back of the wheel studs which works fine. But that's a much neater solution if it works.

The 94-98 Mustang used a VSS in place of the speedometer. Has anyone tried fitting the OEM Ford piece?
