Default Autospecialists power steering hose

Hi there

Does anyone know if the following power steering hose from AS that allows you to fit the AS inlet is the supply hose from the power steering reservoir to the pump? ...

My supply hose is badly worn and I need a new one and my future plan is to fit an AS inlet, so the the above hose replaces my worn hose and allows you to fit the AS inlet then I'm onto a winner.

The bigger hose in the following pic is the one in wanting to replace...

yes mate that is the correct hose I just fitted mine a while ago for the same reason to get rid of the old one and because I could fit the new inlet.

What was the purpose of the loop in the original?
I'd also like to replace my original, but not fitting AS inlet, this one is much tidier though.

Ridgey I'm guessing it's for clearance for something I don't really know.

This is why I'm replacing mines...

It looked nice and fresh until I straightened it, I dunno what made me check but I'm glad I did. Had the full front end off to replace the oil pump and sump gaskets...

Perhaps the silicone hose is far more flexible and gives the required movement without ?

The AS pipe is for the hart plenums, for clearance on the throttle body

That was stated in the opening post
The hose still needs to be suitable for its job.
