The fuel cut out switch in the spare wheel well. Does anyone know how they are removed and how the wires disconnect?
I want to take mine out but cant quite work how its done. I don't want to disturb anything before i know exactly how to do it.

aren't they riveted to the boot floor?think I'd trace the wires back from the switch you may find a plug under the seat.

 

I suspect it may be wired directly to it. You would think it could be removed, so a replacement could be fitted.

Yes its riveted to the floor but the wires are only short wires and i obviously dont want to pull the fuel cut out away from the wheel well to look at the wires underneath it.

 

The frame is riveted but you can take the switch out of the frame, and if memory serves there's only to wires from it so just cut and join them together to do away with it.
