On behalf of a colleague:- He has an N reg RS2000 4x4 & has broken the planet gear carrier that is contained within the front transfer case/gearbox. Ford have No information on the gearbox (apparently) & he is looking for a replacement unit. Can somebody tell me what gearbox this vehicle ran? Is it common to any other 4x4 in the ford range & where he might be able to get theparts required?

It's MTX-75 4x4 - try Mondeo 4x4 one. But this gearboxes are properly RARE.
