Hi I'm doing a engine conversion on my mk2 fiesta with ohv engine I'm wanting either 1.8 or 2 litre really need help on what zetec engine would be the easiest and out off what car ect thanks in advance kieran

Two choices silver or black top both are much the same the black top is better if your going to a higher level of tuning.


Silver top may be easier to find again not much difference between the 1.8 and 2.0, people say the 1.8 rev's better if you go for a 1.8 fit it with 130bhp or 2.0l cams also whilst its apart get the fly wheel lightened and change the rod bolts for ARP ones as they are a week point if revving it hard.


My dad has a mk2 with a 1.8 with 2.0l cams bike carbs and it makes 150bhp it has a RST lsd box and it fly's.


You will need a lot of parts from a xr2 or a cvh powered fiesta to fit a zetec these bits are getting quite hard to find now.
