Default E30 325I Sport

I've always promised myself an E30 BMW and thought the time was right, as decent ones are fetching good money now, anyway, i picked this up last week, no rust, solid, full black leather heated recaros to add to my small collection.

Hope you like, before and after pictures with subtle changes to bring back as standard.

Regards

Indy

Thanks

I think they are about 171 bhp, but probably less, but its a genuine 120,000 on the clock with paperwork, so moves ok in sport mode as this is an auto. Its a cruiser, but a proper iconic car

Have thought about 17 inch alpina reps on it, but would need to low it, so trying to resist to modify it. this is the first car that I want totally factory.

Very nice very hard to find nice ones now. I used to have a H plate 325i sport and a J plate motorsport convertible (one of the proper ones!!!), one of the only cars i've missed since selling!

I had one of these and an E30 M3 Evo and I preferred the drive of the 325i.

Lovely car!

I totally agree, I've been looking for one over a year now in dolphin Grey at the right price and rust free, but found this one in diamond black which actually looks a bit like charcoal grey/dark flint grey.

There is a guy on here with a cossie powered one in grey really nice that one!

The estates are the ones for the cool kids. Same spec as the sport with the lsd , heavier 51mm suspension, mtec2 kit and enough space in the boot for a dead body.

Looks 100% better factory ,alpina replicas would ruin it ,they have to be genuine to look any good, m badge should be on n/s grille (they did not have one from factory )

Nice car mate! That doesn't look black at all in the pics. My two favourite colours are the dolphin grey and the bright red. A friend had one with an M52 in and that really made it go well but tbh keeping them standard has to pay off in the long run! Enjoy.

You've got to squeeze the body through the silly back lights that don't move tho

Love it, used to have a macau blue motorsport convertible, which was auto too. Love the noise they make. Where's the i gone in the last photo, or are they a bit mumbeld up.

whats the going rate for a genuine sport these days? from my time on the scene 10 years ago I expect itll be well over Ł5G for one now? there was lots of sport reps around at the time made from 325i's.
the reg on that one looks familiar. are you on e30zone?

Great cars these, I've had 5, Great sound with a full scorpion system on. E30M3s are just sublime too, best cars I've owned, wish I still had my Evo 2, it only had 13k on it, same car today sells at over 100 grand

No chance lol, private sales are 30K with a few mad dealers asking for silly money. I do not doubt that they will be 100K in a few years though!

Your evo is going to be serious money in a few years as well!

A mechanic I used to work with has a serious low mileage red e30 m3, he went to Germany to get it many many years ago, he only drives it once a year to the mot and back! Think he paid ÂŁ10k for it, must be worth a lot more now

Cheers All for your positive kind words. The Sapp and 3 door are mine too.

The E30 Sport 325i are 5k plus mark these days and more for a decent one.

Twins

Cheers Mate, I will change the grill badge to the N/S. I didn't know that this was not standard. Looks smart thu.

A little while ago you refurbished a 5 Series and put up pics, I liked how you sprayed the engine Plenum silver. What paint did you use please?

I don't know if you recall, I spoke to you at Ford fair 2 years ago, as I wanted the number of the bloke who made the RS500 Sapp Splitters, I was with Qad?

Thanks again Mate
