Default Help transit connect

hi have transit connect tdci that is not feeding fuel to the common rail an instead is just sending it back to the tank, changed the pump an its still do same thing an also changed the 3x fuel sensors an still no go, anyone help me out as a stuck for van for work

Have you got rid of all the air out of the system. These engines can be a nightmare to start. Have you changed the fuel filter as well. What i do at work is i use a car petrol fuel pump and put it on the fuel filter and the pipe to the engine and use that to suck the diesel through.

Yeah that's what we do, works a treat. They can be a nightmare after just changing the fuel filters can't they mate

but am getting fuel at the return pipe mate, its just not feeding the common rail tho?

Thats very strange you would if thought it was the pump.

They dont need timing up either so its not that. I take it its a new pump??

Have you tried gravity feeding the pump? And have you checked the leak back from the injectors?
