My 07 focus 1.6 tdci is getting engine system fault. Comes on after about a minute of starting car, and goes into limp mode. Also this morning the bonnet would not open, key just turns and does nothing. Please help. Thinking it's going to cost fortune to fix.

Disconnect the battery for 30mins it's meant to reset the systems. As for the bonnet lock, the plastic clip that holds it in place may have snapped off. Does the key turn or the lock?

 

Have it plugged in but two common faults are glow plug relay or glow plugs normally

Bonnet lock replacement is about £40 from fords but you can use your original barrel to save building the new barrel up
