I have the chance to purchase a good 200 block.
Will all the 2wd internals fit into the 200 block.
such things like...
OIL PUMP / SPRAY BAR
SUMP WITH PICK-UP PIPE
RODS / PISTONS
CRANKS
many thanks

Yes will all swap straight over, you should consider getting the block long studded while its apart and cut outs in the pistons, future proofs the engine for not a lot of money.

I am looking for more power than my 380bhp at the moment on the 205 block.
If i use all the 2WD internals i take it i will still get some piston slap due to the centre pin location.
I am so happy that all the small things will transfer over.
I know i will have this answer when i strip the engine down but i did thinkthe pumps were different and the pick-up due to sump.

If it turns out 470 i'll still be happy.
i will do alot of research when i get deep into the build.
i have a very good engineering company that will do the machine work for me.
Whats your opinion on 500 bhp engine ?
Regards

Engine wise for 500 your looking a 10 studs and cp pistons, head work, a cam or cams, inlet, 83lbs injectors, big intercooler, decent boost control and ideally after market ecu.
Then a high spec t38 or gt30 unless you got the budget for a BW and manifold.

I think to run at 500 and use all of it is not cheap, std t5 and a atlas is on borrowed time with 500bhp, my Cortina with a t34 at 390 spins in third on 245 cr500's so bigger wheels & rubber to get it down.

My car is 6 linked running same size tyres as you, and to be honest puts the power down really well.
It just squats and goes ( wont spin up in third ) just pulls really hard.
The atlas has been built to handle 500bhp with the motorsport LSD..
T5 could be an issue though.
Cheers
