Default Quick cossie pulley question

Can anyone help with a quick question? One of my lugs is a tad busted on the crank pulley (for the crank sensor) meaning it needs to come off. Does this pulley come off without removing the cam belt or does the cam belt pulley have to come off with it? Cheers me dears.

The pulley will come off and leave the belt drive gear on the crank.

Thank you Loomer. I was hoping that was the case. Cheers again!

Has anyone here used one of the repair wheels from Brands Hatch on ebay? I believe the back of the pulley is machined off along with the lugs and the repair wheel sandwiches between the pulley and the cam belt pulley. Are they any good?

Does anyone know the pcd and thread of the 3 tapped holes in the pulley for the purposes of making up a removal tool? Also, what's the best way to undo the 24mm headed bolt in the crank? I understand they are a bit of a pain? Many thanks!

No idea about the Brands Hatch item.

I repaired one of my damage lugs with a mig welder and carefully dressed it
so that it was an exact match to the others and the leading and trailing edges
were the in the correct position.

To remove the cranks bolt I normally put the car in 5th and get an assistant
to press the brake pedal. Use a decent quality socket and a big breaker bar.

Thanks Guinnless for the reply. I did it on Thursday. I too opted for a repair rather than using the repair ring. I welded it up using MMA with a cast iron rod, then machined it in a lathe. Turned out nice. Cheers again, Matty
