which oil tuned focus rs mk1
My focus rs is freshly rebuilt.
Turbo as well.
After about an hours worth of thrashing she puffs a bit of blue on over run. But only in the hot weather.
Cold weather or night time wont do it at all...
I know mk1s run hot so im wondering if its worth changing oil. Running 5w40 fully ford oil in her.
But is it worth going 10w60 or something that can really deal with heat, anyone experience this

Only ever used the standard 5w 30 fully synthetic in our engines. Never had a problem. We even bought 160ltr drum (think that's the drum size) of the stuff from ford. It's Q8 oil.
