Hi as mentioned, my business partner has just had his focus st3 in revo tune an it cost him £4500he is hitting 350bhp at the wheels he is told.

He wants to go over 450@whp using a diff turbo with external waste gate and screamer pipe! That is a must for him!

Which turbo would you advise him to go with £££ isn't a problem

Whatever borg warner is good for the power level, no experience with them myself, but looking at dyno graphs seeing the torque levels they have done and seeing in car videos of cars fitted with them and how well they come on boost, it must be the turbo of choice.

 

450 at the wheels is what, 520 ish? I'd be looking at a Holset HY35 personally or even a HX35 with a 12cm exhaust housing, cheap to buy, super tough and produce the numbers, they're even great on spool times considering they come from big 6+ litre diesels.

Edit to say, they're internally gated but they're simple to blank off, that's what I'm doing for my Volvo build.

 

Borg Warner twin scroll and manifold to suit, nothing comes close.
