Default My FRST back from Frenzy Performance :) - UPDATE

Hi,

Now got my car back from Frenzy Perfromance after having the boost monkey Gen 8 ECU and new loom fitted. Karl has done a top job, explained any issues we had along the way and kept me updated every step of the way. Very impresseed!

The car now droves lovely and delivers the power very well for the stage 3 T2 turbo i had fitted. Work is very neat too! Will be back for more work when i can decide which way to go (zetec or re-build CVH)

Anyway few pics below - Had the following done

New Boost Monkey Gen 8 ECU
New Loom
New Rad
New Intercooler
New stage 3 T2 turbo with cosworth internals
New MSD actuator
New MSD fuel pump
New Brainded fuel lines
New hoses
New leads, plus and distributer
New Exhaust - Mongoose 4"
New ford fuel pressure regulator - Mine gave way! £330 brand new from ford!! killed me lol

Front pipe was altered to avoid a nasty rattle when Karl fitted the exhaust

Well small update - Been thinking long and hard if i should re-build the CVH for more power or go Zetec, did not want to go away from the CVH as was worried it takes away the orginality of the car??

But then found this for a price i could not refuse! currently gathering new oil pump, water pump, gaskets, belts etc to freshen this up! Looking for decent clutch too if anyone can recomend one?

Need to see if i can fit decent manifold on with out having to cut the front of the RST bumper as want car looking standard from outside! (any one know?)

Box wise im going to order a stage 2 plus from CTS - Hoping this will help put the power down!

So hoping to have car back with karl at Frenzy performance in January to get her running!

Car looks spot on mate! I've seen lots of Karls work and I am always impressed with his attention to detail when doing ecu installs.

I have seen a thread on here recently with Karl Norris using a MK2 focus RS gearbox on a zetec. Might be worth a look in as its shorter than the mtx75 so wouldn't need the inner wing chopping about and also rated to 400 lbs or something silly! Plus has good ratios.

Its what I would be doing if I were going high powered zetec!

We destroyed a cts stage 2 @300hp/280tq
And I would clean and inspect the oe oil pump unless you know it's faulty.

What you mean mate?

Still not sure if fitting the Frs lump takes away the originality of the cvh turbo

Fancy a series one soon so may save for that

Hi guys and girls,

I have got a similar question to the title of this thread. I have got a DSF2000 that I have owned for about 13 years however. I have lost the instructions and I need to upload the factory tune to the vehicle. Can anyone help please?

Many thanks

Dale
