Default Rota RM200 vs Compomotive TH

Whilst at Ford Fair today I saw a trader selling Rota 18" RM200 for £800, these are £375 cheaper than the comp TH's forsale at the moment. Has anyone any experiance of the Rota's?

Cheers

Hopefully they make a copy of comp mo5/6's as they are ridiculously priced 2nd hand.

I think they look good and the only problem I saw was when I looked they are only available in 8.5" wide which for me is a bit too wide

Oh right. Ok on the back I suppose but maybe too much work needed on the front to justify.

Can anyone remember the supplier? had a look online but can't seem to find anything other than 7.5J?

Edit just noticed you said 18" I was getting excited then thinking someone made a decent looking and good width wheel that wasn't comps in 17

I asked if these where available in 7.5j, Rota Wheels Uk response was...

"They aren't made in that narrow a fitment I am sorry to say.

Currently they're 18x8.5 only. More sizes hopefully will follow, but not offered at present".

My only gripe with Rota is they do not recommend use of slick tyres with any of their alloys. Doubt you would find that a issue with the comps

The comps are 8x18. How much of a difference does that 0.5" make when modifing the arches??

If you had a higher offset the arches might be ok but not sure about it rubbing on the back of the wheel on the shock
