I have a ford ka zetec 1.2 62 plate and all of a sudden it has started eating the petrol. I have done 12 miles and it is hitting the 3/4 mark and has never done. I am just wondering if someone can give me some advise?

How do you know it's over fueling? Could be a defective fuel gauge as well.
Or a major leak somewhere. Any petrol smells around the car?
