fuel pump relay
Depends. Ford still stocks the pink relays which were also used for MK4 MFI Escorts. RS1600i had a different relay (black with a fuse on top) which is out of stock.
When you have trouble finding a correct one, you can also use any standard relay. But then you'll have to rewire it and might also use a different socket AND your fuel pump won't prime then.

unless you have a concourse type car I would fit a fuel pump re wire kit off the likes off matt lewis.
lets face it you could buy an expensive rare relay for it to fail in x amount of time or worse it dont work when you get it.
im constantly re wire pumps on many cars not just fords. They suffer with volt drops and high resistance at the best of times. 1v lower at the pump could cause a whole load of crap when tuning.

Purple are S2, different pin output/design to S1.
Think S1 shared the same relay as Golf GTi's of the era (16v i think... maybe 8) so VW sources/forums are a good shout too
