, i really don't understand how people can't grasp the concept of the age criteria rule tbh
I booked my car on as local stand it wasn't questioned so thought that rule had been taken down as previous year
The whole fun of a show is drive you car there. Fuck leaving in the public car park. Had stuff robbed off the car before in public show parks.
If that's the rule want bother taking it again or going to the show again until it reaches 25 years old.
Too many rules and regs with this Rsoc lark!
Or I'll just book on with a visiting stand and leave it there and go and sit in my club stand to be with me mates.
Also supported this show for years and years with many cars. Why should I stop driving my car there cause they change the rules.

the rules are still in place mate but they dont actually enforce it as pod marshalls let in any tom dick or harry tbh, but what classic ford officials do is note the clubs that break the rules and normally give them a poor location as punishment for the following year, visiting car clubs etc only apply to the likes of central day etc, and I totally agree with you over unsafe public car parks as the pod and donington have to be the worst in the country, these rules were mainly brought in for likes of the stoc taking a few hundred modern cars and not actually leaving room for classics to be displayed as it always worked fine until they came on the scene
As far as I'm concerned they put the rule in numbers dwindled last year and they went back on the rule. Or so I was told.

so it's easy to see why people get miffed when they've obeyed the rules and see that other people don't
for the record, i personally think that escos' should be allowed into the show, as 1-pd says the rules were put in place to stop row upon row of mk1 focus rs' and focus st's rocking up
this is exactly the problem, i left my car at home last year because of the rules and came up in my daily banger and dumped it in the scrotes car park. a few local groups i know didn't have a stand because they were predominantly focus rs owners in those groups.

Each year it seems to be less and less cars and people my worry is the show will die. But yes no one wants to see rows and rows of focus.
I would even dare leave my daily in the car park. With young twats I saw driving around like they stolen there cars in there.
Anyway happy days was a good show

,just a shame so many ignore age criteria set for this show by organisers, as there should be no escos nor focus on any club stand
