Just found a old photo bucket account of mine .. and found some old pics of my second rs turbo ..I had a black one when 17 and sold that.. then bought this at 19 years old ..chipped by MSD .. 2 bar boost spike and bigger intercooler it had on in the final years ..jesus I thought I was the bees knees .. woman got slaughtered in it ::
Had mega fun and was used as a daily ..bass box and cheesy music lol ... Please take me back ...

Looks like it was a nice one, good luck trying to get insured with one at the age of 17 now though! These days 5-6 grand on a 1.0 shopping car isn't uncommon!

 

I paid Ł740 fully comp with Liverpool Victoria in 2002 on my first rs turbo ..I paid 600 for this with same 2 years after .

 

That's a bargain! My fiesta was 3grand when I was 19!

 

Looks very tidy for a then 14 year old car? looks naked without spots, But I suppose that was the in thing back then?
TIM gauge looks at home in old cars, so thats fine.

Nice looking car Matt! Very similar from my 2nd RST, from late 90's, small front plate, no spotlights, (so much better looking without!!) even the same wheels, but mine were silver...

 

Yep that was the style back then ..spots off small number plates mate..
