Hi Iv got a Bailey turbo damper but when I fit it the rise joint thread ain't long enuff to reach turbo I'm only using t34 anyway round this

 

Sounds like your hanger bracket on the turbo needs rotating.

You could possibly get a longer stainless bolt and cut the head off and replace the threaded section for the longer bolt.

Will take a pic of mine later.
