i had an alcom 6 paddle in mine which gave a nice soft pedal feel compared to ap.

Not tried helix myself but they are supposed to be pretty good

I wasn't aware of that. I was looking at getting the AP/Helix kit from Matt Lewis later this month.

will keep an eye on this and see the comments, as I may be going the same way.

I have the Helix 6 paddle clutch kit in my 2wd plus hydraulic conversion, top notch. I was also told its better than AP set up.

I know it's not a 6 paddle but I have a helix organic kit and is really good. A little heavy but not leg breaking

Yes this is correct. I use complete helix kit on mine and its fine.
just remember to have the flywheel refaced and bed the clutch in. And ensure fly and clutch assembly are torqued to spec using a little loctite on bolts.

Had mine done last year, best mod so far! Makes the clutch very light and much more controllable I found.

Has anyone actually experienced any problems with the AP pressure plates?
Or is it just hearsay....?

I have just fitted the helix 6 paddle with helix cover along with a new cable as recommended by matt lewis and i am really pleased with it. Feels amazing not heavy at all.

Also doesnt seem to be juddery when pulling away. Even better than the old organic clutcj i had before. (Might be due to the flywheel now being refaced)

I've got a AP 6 paddle & helix cover from Matt I fitted that last year & did hydraulic at same time, I had fly wheel skimmed & just wanted to know if everyone has the same slight bit of judder when you pull off in 1st?? If at low revs, if u Rev it quite high & let it out it grips & yr gone.... All other gear are perfect just wonderd if this is normal with a paddle clutch???
Cheers

I have got a Helix 6 paddle clutch & cover plus a new lightened flywheel with hydraulic conversion and I have never had any judder with mine so far.
