Hi there im new here ,i want to buythe kent cam CVH33K for my ford fiesta xr2i 1991 efi , approximately 20bhp increase they say

now the question is :''have someone put this cam on his car?'' i know if i put this cam the idle will be irregular .

 

I ran a similar Piper profile cam in my old XR2i. With a whole load of time and money it just about eeked 130bhp. Tickover etc was fine.

 

I',ve contacted the piper sales for a similar camshaft like this and they responded with this message:

The do camshaft for Pinto engine not the CVH. We do not make a cam for the CVH engine ... can't believe...

If i put this kent probably i need to change the springs and you should fit new followers with the camshaft. all the kit 370 phound...
