So came out from work to see the damage on the bonnet! Went back and checked the cctv can just about see a pickup reversing into the front end then speeding off. Can't even see the reg of the truck coz the cameras are so shit!

Lucky that quarter pulled out, my mate hit mine, (in my old car!!?) and it needed new rear quarter. Which, was some slight bonus, that it was that arch that was rotten!

It only just pulled straight, but I reckon it's stress factors gone now in the metal as it stretched quite a bit

Aslong as that bonnet is rust free I'd be repairing that...
Should all push, pull out that imo...

Just got the quote from my body shop guy, he said worst case Ł500 just depends how long it take its him to hammer out the dent, get the ridge shape right on the lip of the bonnet and blend all the paint work in. Also asked him to tidying up the paint on the front bumper as it's got a few scratches.

So she goes in next week!

DAmn Ł500 to fix that! seems steep.

Is there any chance the pickup is a regular and you could catch on his next visit?

Guess it's cheaper and probably easier than getting another bonnet and having it painted!?
Hope you manage to find the twat that did the damage!!
