Hi All!!
A very good friend has volunteered his services to restore my 1986 White 3 door Sierra RS Cosworth, car has been laid up for past 20 years under cover in a garage.
The project has started and I am in need of spares and advise for the experts....you!
I did phone Ford to enquire on old stocks etc etc....still waiting for a response.
Needs & questions so far.....
1. We need a drivers side front wing, is there anywhere I can get a original??
2. Going to replace all the bushes - is it worth replacing with the stiffer poly bushes? does it improve the drive? (I can't remember last drive !!!)
3. Replacement trim cloth available anywhere? (Mouse broke in!!!!)
4. Main Cosworth part suppliers?
That's it for just now but i'm sure there will be more!
I will be taking photo's of the process and will share with all.

Don't think you will have any luck from fords,your best bet is to try Paul @north Yorkshire rs spares he probably your best bet

1> Wings are no longer available but you may find some new old stock that people are selling. They wont be cheap tho - i just bought a new pair for 400 quid

2> I would use poly bushes.

3> Cloth not available but search ebay for a set of seats and use the cloth from that.

4> Loads of cosworth breakers around - do a google search. Beware though as alot of the traders want top money for their parts some of which are only fit for the bin lol
