Saw you racing up and down over the speed bumps, thought you were gunna get pulled at one point when the old bill turned up just behind you.

 

Old bill didn't seem to care what was going on last night tbh

I was bored shitless so went for a couple of laps.

 

weather forecast put many off but they were not to know rain did not start until 10, carpark was full so thats as much as we could have hoped for

 

TBF I have read a lot in the run up from you and others about speed bumps, rain and police etc...


That's what put people off, not a weather forecast as tbh no one ever checks weather when they're off out, if it rains it rains in general imo.

 

police are always invited guests of mine and were there in the car park as a couple of officers owned Fords and were on duty, if people want to see burn outs and crap like that its just as well they did not attend as thats not what our birthday at the ace is about so I suggest they attend japfest or drifting shows, speedramps are fine by me

 

i went but it seem quiet was there from 5 til to 9

No one wants to go to a car show where there's shit loads of police, speed bumps and to top it off rain!

Couldn't care less about police myself as most, but that being constantly mentions along with "speed bumps & rain" put most off!

 

so you would rather I lie to people or avoid mentioning such things about where they are going and let it be a surprise , lets face it if you are legal and drive in a legal way police will make no difference at all, so to put people off they must be the types who are unable to control themself behind the wheel of a car which is a worrie for other road users , and every year I list this event in same way and has not put anyone off before, last nights attendance was purely down to the weather being a mystery

Yeah it was quieter for sure but still a massive amount of proper sorted fords along the outside road, but pf i reckon has grown up its not all about who can make a car pop and bang or hooking it around a roundabout, great night and will be back with my lot again next year just as i have the last 4

Not been to the Ace for years, used to go down a lot, for both Ford and Fiat meets... Didn't realise they put speed bumps in.

 

Only happened recently stu. Slowed the cars down a tad, bikes love em though lol

 

When I used to go, there were a few near misses and a pizza delivery copped it once, so probably for the best!?
Think the biggest loons were the Royal Mail drivers!

 

The royal mail boys still tear past lol, bumps are weaklings to be fair, only lowered and stiff suspensions need worry

I do think Kev has a point regarding the Speed Humps as we all hate them, especially if your car is modified.

From the video posted elsewhere they didn't look as extreme as I was expecting. I thought they would be the little mountains that they put on housing estates but like already stated the bikes will love them

Everyone loves pops and flames pal, last year when there was a WRC Escort Cossie with antilag on the car park doing it every one there got wet!!

This year when the Pikey Escort Van with a roof rack does it twice as loud, the snobbery jumps out pmsl.
