Default amal valve problems...

hi,
ive got a problem with my genuine cosworth amal valve. its broken and have no boost control at the moment.
bought a focus rs mk1 3-way amal valve (pierburg) and connect the hoses correct, but have no boost control again.
when i fitted a older genuine cosworth amal valve, all works fine and boost control is perfect.

any ideas why the focus rs mk1 valve dont work or any ideas which aftermarket valve works with the cossi management?

thanks for help!

the pierburg valves costs around 30gbp (the old 120gbp) its a cheaper and modern valve.
i think in the future the cosworth valves are very rare to find.

i cant understand why the focus rs valve dont work...

I've got mine from Burton. Original for Cosworth but they are No Longer Available. Just like more and more parts for the good old Cosworth.

Don't know why the Focus RS MKI valve don't work. Did you test any others?

I would go for the simple fix mate

hi mate, yes this is a big problem for the future...

i think the problem is the amal valve frequency.
newer ecu used another frequency than 10hz.

nobody here with the same problems?! :-(
