Finally got round to giving the car a good clean, polish, wax and cream the leather this afternoon.

I know she isn't the greatest Saph out there with the lacquer coming of in loads of places but I cant afford it right now, or the missus would murder me if I spent it .
Least she is still on the road and still a daily bless her

Yep I have done 5 trips from Plymouth to Faslane in her so far.

Did it 10 times in 07/08 when I was on another boat.

I know what you mean. I did close on 30K miles last year. Over and back to the UK 4 times, MSD, Ford Fair etc! Fuel is dearer in the UK but it's 10 times better, V Power is sweet.

 

I get about 20/30 miles more out the tank on higher octane.

 

Cool. Pity we don't have that option over here. It's a joke as there are plenty of cars that need it

I fitted last month AVO Standard uprated ride height Chassis Dynamic springs. The ride quality is a million times better.

It does seem high. Taking a while to settle in but looking at original posters like the Moonstone Saph poster it looks ok.

I wish it was as low as it used to be but I had enough of scrapping everywhere and the exhaust was taking a beating
