Took my sapph out for the first time in 6 months and noticed my fuel tank strap was hanging where's best place to get a new one and the tank aswell while I'm at it?

 

eBay mate there's a few on there, is the tank knackered or just rusty?! I had to replace mine although not used it yet as the fuel return broke off and it was pretty bad anyway.

Remember an old post saying the swirl pots inside are better on genuine ones than the pattern ones but they are all you can get now, unless you can find a good second hand one!!
But if yours is solid and just rusty you can just get it blasted and powdercoated

That would have been me lol. I took my genuine ford one out with the nice big plastic swirl pot and got a shiny new one had it modded to aero fitting put it in and it surged like fook the the first time ever lol.

 

Some cheap ones on eBay so be careful, paid £100 for my new tank on ebay and looks perfect, got the strap off there too for about £20 new

 

I have a tank solid all over just a bit of surface rust needs blasting and painting if anyone intrested
