Very soon I'm startin my rebiuld for my rst got a few more bits to get, but I've gone throught a few engines bought and stripped that where fucked so a lot of the bolts have just been chucked into pots, I've sorted throught and got a few out but still struggling with identifying a few, oil pump and a few others if anyone have a link for a handy rebiuld thread or some picks anything would help that would be great

Hi mate, I have some semi alright pics half way through my build thread (link below). I would recommend getting a Ford oil pump, they are expensive but seem more reliable than the majority of aftermarket items available including the high pressure items you can buy.

 

Cheers rob, I see you just used nice alen headed bolts then ? I was just worried about using the exact bolts Incase they broke or weren't to short ect just over worrying i guess ! ...you done a lovely job on that one by the way it's a stunner !

 

Cheers mate, yes I used stainless bolts for a lot of the stuff, I measured the originals first before buying, next time I do one I will use stainless torx headed bolt as I find these are less prone to rounding when a shonky allen key slips.
