Default wrong fuel!!!

Any folks out there used the fuel doctor after putting the wrong fuel in a the pumps?
Yep, I've just done it!
There seems to be a few different ones, any recommendations and what did it cost you?

Cheers.

Have you put diesel in petrol or petrol in diesel ? I used to work in fuel terminal and the AA had a waste oil tank there where they used to off load the "wrong fuel" they collected. If you are with the AA you might be able to use them not costing you anything but you premium

I put petrol in diesel. 320D. It wasn't too much. Am going to keep it topped up with diesel and dilute it.

I thought the nozzles were made so you couldn't put the wrong hose in filler neck.
Wrong.

Drain it. Even the smallest amount can do irrepairable damage to a modern fuel system.

I put Ł20 in my renault traffic years ago was roughly 1/5 of a tank petrol.
I brimmed it and it ran away fine for 120k.

The forecourt attendant at the shell garage put 30 quids worth of diesel in my cossie last year. Then i told him to top it up with petrol.

A little bit of diesel through a petrol fuel system will do it good, lubricate the pump and injectors etc. It will just clog up cats and lambda sensors though lol
