If using stand alone management then you will want a non injection car loom.

If using mfi turbo then you will need a s2 loom

CVH is the engine mate, MFI is the management (What controls the fuelling and spark timing).
But you will at least need a car loom to run the lights etc unless you want to make one up from scratch, then the engine loom will be determined by whatever type of management you choose.

Thanks for that mate, this is the first restoration Iv done and I'm not that clued up with the engine side of things and sometimes it's s little confusing wen I see engines for sale on eBay and some of them say cvh and others say mfi or efi so wasn't sure wat I needed, I want to keep it standard so if I get the mfi loom and a engine that came from a s2 mk4 that will be ok will it.

For a totally standard resto then yes mate an MFI loom and accompanying parts with a CVH turbo engine (Series 1 or 2 Escort RS Turbo)
