So roughly what is needed mod wise for around the 300bhp mark in a mk1 focus rs and how much roughly to get to this mark ?

 

Just a remap at sabre will get you up around there. All things like air filter upgrade, decat/sportscat and exhaust will free up a few more ponies

 

Ok I thought a decat ,manifold and actuator were a must at this power too but I only have cat back mongoose fitted was gonna go panel filter aswell

 

Give the guys at sabre tuning a call. They have got some great results on standard cars.

 

Mine has got 302bhp and has a Miltek decat, Mongoose system, Forge actuator and K&N cone filter and was then mapped by Jamsport.

 

As the guys have said a remap will do but I would defiantly upgrade the actuator if it's still on the original.
Did you manage to buy a car at the weekend there.

Yeah stevos got one at weekend 3 owners full service last woman owner for 9 years and rsoc member too, cars only done a couple thousand miles in last 2 years . Messaged the guys at sabre and they have confirmed a decat uprated actuator and stage 2 remap should see this sort of figures only problem is how far Bristol is from Dundee

 

It's a weekend away with the misses mate as I looked into it all for mine but decided not to bother as its only a weekend car and plenty fast for me.

Mine did 323bhp on a sabre map with a sabre actuator, decat and a full miltek.

300 is easy with a decent live map, but it's the way it drives and delivers the power!

Get it to sabre, it will be the best money you will ever spend

 

Yeah that could well be the plan and not needing it stupid quick 300ish should be more than enough for me and will some pics sorted and up soon asi get time to clean it stevos
