good news, prices are on the up
it is good news, however, you may not be so happy in your situation.
you can still get something decent out there, but i'd be looking at slightly higher mileage to get a good one.

Fook me I'm thought I would be stuggling to get 8.5-9k for mine and it has 55k on it.
Good for the seller but there are a lot of dreamers out there also. I would hold out mate as there will still be some good bargins out there.

I would say 6-7k for a 100k car

Prices for 50-60k cars are on the up and sub 50k cars are still strong Money at 10k plus

Buy on condition though so go see as many possible, also buy modified as it will save a few quid

They're not brilliant on fuel really but I never thought it would be when I bought mine! It's not horrendous on juice though, depends how far down you press the loud pedal

I used mine as a daily and I only had the odd couple of niggles, nowt major.

Mine wasn't a high spec one (bluefin, exhaust, sports cat, induction kit) but I had loads of fun with mine!

The biggest mistake I made with mine was selling it. Only car I've seriously regretted selling. I wish I'd kept it and fucked off my Cossie project if I'm honest but ain't hindsight a wonderful thing?!

Buy one mate, I think they're a great car

There great cars mate I only use mine at the weekends due to having a van for work.
It's standard power and is plenty quick for me.
I will be sad to see it go but I want a new bike and can't have too many toys.

Usually 20 years so even the oldest ones have another 7 years to go, insurance is quite cheap though if you are 30+ have some Ncb And limit the miles

Great cars. I bought mine just over 2 years ago with about 50k miles, pretty much standard and in excellent condition for Ł7.5k but they do seem to be slowly creeping up in price. It's now been remapped to just over 300bhp with a few basic mods and it's a fantastic car. The only thing that I will get rid of it for will be a mk2 Focus RS probably in a couple of years but if possible I will have both but to be honest I don't think I will be able to afford both.
They're not the cheapest car to run and own but the enjoyment compensates for the costs and they still look fantastic IMO. Get one, the worst that can happen is you don't like it (unlikely) and you can always sell it and you might even make a few quid.

Can't be far off. I had a 2001 Porsche on a 'modern classic' policy last year that cost very little to insure.

Doing good money at minute, just looking at trading mine in with 60k and fsh seem to get offered Ł7500 so I'm sure you should be able to find one with reasonable mileage for 8k
