Great cars. I bought mine just over 2 years ago with about 50k miles, pretty much standard and in excellent condition for £7.5k but they do seem to be slowly creeping up in price. It's now been remapped to just over 300bhp with a few basic mods and it's a fantastic car. The only thing that I will get rid of it for will be a mk2 Focus RS probably in a couple of years but if possible I will have both but to be honest I don't think I will be able to afford both.
They're not the cheapest car to run and own but the enjoyment compensates for the costs and they still look fantastic IMO. Get one, the worst that can happen is you don't like it (unlikely) and you can always sell it and you might even make a few quid.
