DVLA can't find my car...

I have currently tried to renew a sorn or even tax the car but ever time I try to enter my logbook and reg number in it comes up with vehicle not found, I have tried this by phone and on the Internet, any ideas?

Phone the DVLA and speak to them ?

I've already tried to ring the DVLA all i keep getting is a voice recorded person, I can't actually get through to anyone
