I have seen base type front bumpers that are unpainted (grey plastic) with the over riders built in.
Which models were these originally fitted to as I would like to try and buy one ...

Got any pics? The only front bumper with over riders built in is an 88 spec XR3i and RS turbo but they are painted. The 90 spec XR3i and RS turbo front bumper doesn't have over riders built in and look similar to a sierra cosworth bumper and is painted. Both 88 and 90 spec base model (popular, bonus, ghia) front bumpers are grey texture and don't have over riders but the 90 spec base model bumper had a different lower profile.

 

I seen one on a red escort on ebay a number of weeks back. Unpainted grey textured but with the over riders beside where the number plate is.

That's factory primed bumper for an rs or xr3i and has to be painted.

 

Friend of mine has a 90spec RS bumper fitted to his bonus. He just painted it with textured bumper paint so it looks like a standard item.

 

 

I was mistaken. It is 90 spec type
