Hi I have just fitted a cosworth management kit into my escort but I cannot get it to run can anyone help all my crank and phase sensors test good and all my Ecu lives and earths are fine. When I unplug the map sensor it runs but really rich with it been unplugged I have checked the injector pulse and when map is plugged in there is next to no pulse when it's unplugged I get a really bright flash so what can be coursing the injector switching to be low ? Please help am losing my head with the car lol

 

Have you got the correct map sensor for the chip and injectors?

 

It's got the chip that the lad put in the Ecu for it and it's got green 803 injectors and 3 bar map sensor

 

Is everything plugged in correctly? map sensor and tps are the same plugs from memory, have you spoken to the supplier of the parts?

 

Hi yes tried and checked all of that and tried the tps plug on the other way round incase it was the different sensor and nothing am thinking map sensor or Ecu

 

Are you getting a spark?

 

Yes getting a good spark everything is good apart from the injector pulse
